经济现代化是中国式现代化的重要组成部分,中国经济取得了举世瞩目的重大成就。当前世界正经历百年未有之大变局,GPT语言大模型的问世,凸显了语言对全球经济和经济社会发展的深刻影响。商务语言集知识、使用、文化、技术、教育、服务、治理等功能为一体,为对外贸易、海外投资、跨国合作和跨境电商等需求提供语言服务支持。商务英语教育培养了大批德才兼备、专业精通的复合型人才,助力中国经济高质量发展。面对中国经济新发展格局,商务英语教育和商务语言服务该如何前行,更好地助力中国经济现代化?值得学界和业界深入思考和探索。
第一届全国商务英语语言学研讨会于2014年在北京隆重召开,此后,中国海洋大学、广东外语外贸大学、湖南大学、四川外国语大学、西南财经大学、北京语言大学、上海财经大学和中南财经政法大学先后举办了九届,成为广大中外商务英语师生学术交流的平台,推动了商务英语国际学术共同体构建。
今年正值商务英语语言学研讨会召开十周年,第十届全国商务英语语言学研讨会将于2023年10月13-15日在北京召开。本次研讨会由中国对外贸易经济合作企业协会商务英语专业工作委员会和威廉希尔体育网联合主办,威廉希尔体育网威廉希尔体育网承办。本届会议将探讨中国经济现代化进程中的语言研究的商务英语学术前沿话题,诚挚邀请国内外专家、学者和师生拨冗与会,共同交流学习。

The 10th anniversary forum and International Symposium on Business English Linguistics
(First Call for Papers)
Economic modernization is an important part of Chinese path to modernization, and China's economy has achieved remarkable achievements. The unprecedented changing world and the emergence of GPT language model have exerted the profound impact on global economic and socio-economic development of China.Business language integrates knowledge, usage, culture, technology, education, services, governance, and other functions as a whole, providing language services and support for foreign trade and investment, international cooperation, and cross-border e-commerce needs. Business English education has cultivated a large number of compound, capable and professional talents and assisted high-quality development of Chinese economy. Facing the new development pattern of China's economy, how should business English education and business language services move forward to better contribute to the modernization of China's economy? It is worthy of deep thinking and exploration for the academia and businesses.
The 1st National Conference on Business English Linguistics was held in Beijing in 2014. Since then, Ocean University of China, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Hunan University, Sichuan International Studies University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Beijing Language and Culture University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law have successively held nine conferences, which served as an academic and exchange platform for business English teachers and students and contributed to the building of an international academic community of business English.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Business English Linguistics Symposium. The 10th National Business English Linguistics Symposium will be held in Beijing from October 13 to15, 2023. The symposium is jointly sponsored by Professional Committee for Business English of China Shippers’ Association and Central University of Finance and Economics, and hosted by the School of Foreign Studies of Central University of Finance and Economics. Experts, scholars, teachers and students from home and abroad are sincerely invited to attend this conference to discuss the frontier of business English academic topics in language studies in the modernization of China's economy.
